This is my friend Joe operating the Valley Railroad #97. We both travelled to
Essex, CT to participate in the "Your Hand on the Throttle" program offered by
the Valley Railroad. We attended an hour long class about steam locomotive
theory and operation, and then we were able to operate #97 for about an hour
