Folks:
The attached slide is my first test of transferring slide images to digital medium. It is a VERY crude test shot done with my new Sony Mavica FD90 camera equipped with a set of closeup lenses. The slide was merely held in front of the cam with a white envelope reflecting the light from my desk lamp to illuminate it. In the future I hope to construct a decent dulplication light table to do slides and negatives. As you can see, even this crude test gave a half decent result and I am certain that with proper lighting and working equipment this can be improved. By the way... The shot is one I had kicking around that was given by Leo Landry. The dual RS-1 operations are but a memory but the snowflakes look ominously similar to those outside my window right now.....
It was 1988...
The car is an NYSW track geometry car...
The signal is decorative only.
