Track Maintenance - Bolton Vermont

Working on track on a hot summer morning. This is a Tie Handler or "cherry picker" followed by a Jackson Tie Machine. The pickers are in charge of the distribution of new ties in front of the job and clean up behind the second machine which removes old ties and inserts new. According to Rick Libby (Thanks!) this particular machine is generally used only to remove ties.
