A sad day in Canaan...

10/13/01 This morning, a fire damaged about one half of the Historic Canaan (CT) Union Station. The FD stopped the fire before the Station was completely destroyed. The station is the oldest operating station in CT and is on the National Historic Register. The former Ctr New England and New Haven crossed here.
