A R.T Ames Railroad Construction machine is sitting on the tracks in downtown Augusta, Me. New ballast is being put down at this time to reconnect the rails between the Augusta Water District and downtown Augusta. There will be new rails but only one connecting the one on the left side where this machine sits. Do you know what the purpose of this machine is? 35mm Olympus burned onto Cd.
