USRA #2 - Maine Central Nov 1918 Time Table Extract

Ever wounder what was going with those 'USRA' locomotives? During the First World War the US Gov't took over operation of the Railroads. I have not read a lot about this, but I suspect the action was ment to smooth over labor/management unrest and keep war production & the trans-Atlantic shipping lanes full, & on time in support of the massive transhipment effort. BTW, the war ended the day this TT went into effect !
