SPV 2000 on CT DOT Waterbury Line

During the 1980's I lived in Seymour, CT. "The Valley" as the area is called was New Haven territory. The line sees regular passenger trains from Waterbury to Bridgeport to connect with Metro North and Amtrak. We used to ride the Budd cars up and down the Waterbury line sometimes just for something to do. One cold Janurary day we picked up the train at Derby, CT and rode down to Bridgeport. The normal equipment at the time was the old Budd RDC's but on this day the approching shape was different. One of the new SPV 2000's!
