SPV 2000 at Derby, CT

Having riden the RDC's many times I was excited to take my first ride on their replacments. As soon as we were underway my excitment changed to alarm. This thing shook, vibrated, rattled, and twisted around like a wet cardboard box. I began to wonder if we would make it to Bridgeport and back. Apparently my impressions weren't far off as they soon got the nickname Seldom Powered Vehicles. After a few frustrating years of use Conn DOT pulled them out of service and put the old RDC's back to work.
