Quincy Bay #19 at Hyannis

During the first year of operation for the Cape Cod Central, then-sister railroad Quincy Bay Terminal supplied this Alco switcher for hostling in Hyannis yard. I dubbed it "Quincy", as it seemed to fit; the little engine was too small to shoulder a "Great Pumpkin" monikier. Note the friction-bearing trucks, which would delay "Quincy's" departure from Middleboro the following year, when the CCCX changed hands.
