Here's the close up. Notice how well the ROW is maintained. Someone with a syth has kept the bushes cut back and the telegraph poles are straight & true. The guy who listed this on Ebay sez: "... number 282 is one of Maine Central's very distinctive 4-6-0 express locomotives. These locomotives had a peculiar narrow apperance because they employed piston valves angled far inward so that they could be driven by Stephenson valve gear." /DL
