NY NH & H RR Tracks over the Housy River in 1951 at Lenox Dale, MAThis is the scene of the NHRR tracks in 1951 that crossed the Housy River at Lenox Dale, MA. The view is looking north towards the Lenox station. At the time of the photo, the bridge was all kreosoted wood. The siding at right used to go to Ed Girardi's Coal Company. The siding is no longer there but the coal trestle where the cars used to back onto the company's property is still there. The bridge has since been replaced by a steel/wood structure.
