Rockland Branch of the MEC - RUST !The speeder got quite dirty, or rather battle scared this day. Although the tracks were wet we had excellent stopping ability. When it got dry later in the day the track adhesion was very strong, I'd say powerful. It seemed better then rubber on dry pavement. We tried breaking once on dry track and almost when thru the windshield. Apparently rusty dry track is very good for stopping... ! Since all the track we rode on all 4 days was rusty sliding to a stop was never too much of a worry. /DL
