Maine Central's Union Station, Bangor, Maine c1950

MEC Union Station. Diesel & Steam side by side at Bangor, c1950. My father always liked this picture. Don't know if the steam loco was a B&A or an MEC. The bridge in the background above the red passenger cars is the old Rt15 bridge over the Penobscot. This scene is looking northeast. The Penobscot River is to the right with Brewer beyond. The station & Train Shed are now host to a small mall, or at least that was what was still there last time I went through Bangor a couple of years ago.
