Maine Central #525 at Rockland June 1936

I can hear the engineer now; "Come on Fred top her off so we can get down to Moodys for lunch." In the 70s I used to know the freight agent at Rockland, Wendell Lewis. He said the RR crew always stopped in Waldoboro, just under Rt1 by the Rt220 crossing and walked up to Moodys for lunch. I expect it happened frequently in the mid 30s too.. !
