CP Rail Farnham Turn North Troy Bridge Move March '88

CP Rail's westbound Farnham Turn executes the time-consuming move at North Troy Vermont in March 1988. In this view the second unit takes the train over the bridge. The bridge had developed a weight restriction allowing only one locomotive at a time. Eventually this span was replaced with a new steel span.

Photographed by Mike Confalone, March, 1988.
Added to the photo archive by Mike Confalone, January 7, 2005.
Railroad: CP Rail.
