For my next series I will cover as many of the "6-packs" stored in Waterville during the 1990's as I can.

MEC SD-40 #602 is seen here stored in the Waterville deadlines, March 1995. This unit had previously spent a lot of time on the Boston Line, paying back HP Hours to Conrail, before it was stored for good on GTI in September 1992. The #602 was later sold and rebuilt, and is now HLCX #6071.
