ST SD-45 #689 is seen here retired, whitelined, and lettered for NRE in the East Deerfield deadlines, March 1994. This unit was originally stored for good at Waterville in July 1991. It was retired on 11/17/93 at Waterville and then moved to Deerfield awaiting disposition. It was later sold to NRE in July 1994 and was rebuilt into SP SD40M-2 #8679, which then became UP #2755. I believe this unit is still active on the UP! My apologies for the poor scan quality.
