Beating the Season

Dana Rowe, the OCNRR 'all around man' is resting while the consist is pushing its way North along the Newport Secondary track.

It is much easier to get out on the track and cut the growth during the winter months before the spring growth is added.

Of course, having a pot of fresh beef stew on the stove waiting to feed the crew for lunch makes it a nice day out on the rails.
