These Hayes Wheelstops mark the end of the line. the line originally contuinued all the way to provincetown, MA, but was cut back to south dennis by a financially strapped New Haven Railroad in 1965. now the state is going to tear up the rest of this historic line in their neverending quest for Rails to trails.
