This photo shows the busy Binghamton Rail Yard after floods forced some railroads to shut down some of the routes, causing rail traffic to be re routed. Some of the lines that were temporarily shut down, had only reopened a few days before we visited the rail yard. This caused the yard to be busier than usual. This photo was taken during Railcamp 2006.
