It's near the end of cutting for the day January 13th, 2007, and here is the view looking northbound. At the end of the day, cleared right-of-way extended about one half mile beyond the current end of rail, or about one mile north of Alna Center/Averill Road. So far this winter about 535 feet of right-of-way has been cleared. It will take two - three years of aggressive track building for the rails to reach this point.
