This week another MOW joint cleanup operation occurred on the Newport Secondary track. Coordinated by the City of Newport Clean Cities program coordinator, it involved RIDOT, the Rhode Island Department of Corrections, and the Old Colony & Newport Railway volunteers.

This photo show John Travisono, the local RIDOT supervisor, over looking part of the day's 'collection' before it was offloaded to a RIDOT truck and hauled to the RI Resource Recovery Center.
