25 Minute Soundbite

An April morning in 1998 dawned clear and silent at Sleepy Hollow Road in Richmond, MA, so hopefully it would continue for the usual parade of eastbounds that traveled the B&A. Eventually, as the tones of a distant eastbound horn could be heard way back in the Canaan, NY area, a show of sound would follow for close to a half-hour until ML-482 finally sealed the drama by coming up at about 7mp with 119 loaded autoracks.

Photographed by Jeff Bray, April, 1998.
Added to the photo archive by Jeff Bray, April 27, 2007.
Railroad: Conrail.
