Bay Colony 1061 Scrapped in Newton MA

In early spring 2007, Bay Colony #1061 (formerly gutted and semi-abandoned in Newton) was scrapped with a torch. The line has been cut off from the rest of the system by placing ties across the tracks. - Here the base of the locomotive sits on an industrial siding.
