New Deck for the Parlor Car

The Old Colony & Newport Railway maintenance crew are in the process of replacing the rear beam of their 1884 parlor car.

This car has recently been improved by the addition of a new roof.

This is thought to be the oldest actively used railcar in the United States.

Can any one refute that statement?
