Heading north through Eagleville, Connecticut in October of 1999, the then-annual NECR/VTR Fall Foliage train was just about a mile away from its stop at Mansfield Depot. For a few years, New England Central hosted this event while Vermont Railway supplied the power and cars for the run up to Brattleboro, VT.
