Benton, Maine looking time table east ?? I picked up these two photos on eBay a year or so ago from an estate sale. I have no idea who took them or who’s collection they were a part of. Both are annotated: ‘Looking North from Benton 5-6-67’ My Streets & Trips shows only 2 RR Xings for the MEC in Benton. The River Road, and the Bellsqueeze road. I’ve been over the Bellsqueeze Xing and neither photo seems to match with my recollection of that area.
Any help identifying the two locations would be appreciated! These are great trackside photos. The MEC sure did a nice job of taking care of their physical plant! /DL
