rail preparation for Columbus Day trackwork weekend

During the day Saturday regularly scheduled trains passed the work site. Here we see brakeman Steve Smith guiding the train southbound as its passes by the work crew. For most of the day the train consisted of coaches #3, open-air #103 and #8, with locomotive #10.
