Fall 2007 trackwork weekend: preparing ties

The WW&F Railway Museum's annual Fall trackwork weekend was held October 5th through 8th. About 420' feet of new track was laid, and over 1000' of ballast was put down. In this photo, five-foot-long ties have been put down every two feet, and spikes are being set for the outside edge of the east rail. Here Wayne Laepple, Dave Buczkowski and Mike Fox are setting the spikes.
