Fall 2007 trackwork weekend: magneto phone system

John McNamara and crew extended the magneto phone northward another 450 or so feet. This new phone post is located roughly 1500' north of Albee's crossing.

This phone system is used to dispatch the railway and is heavily used during the trackwork weekends to coordinate trains and other activities at the Museum. Thanks to the hard work of John and his crew, the phone system now extends well ahead of the head of steel, which will be a big help during future track weekends.
