So long, big guy...

Bay Colony B39-8E #8580 (former RLCX, nee LMX) gurgles off the Cape with the trash train on a warm August evening in its short-lived BCLR "scheme". The "B-boat" enjoyed only a short stay in the northeast, coming to Bay Colony in September of 2006. The GE was last seen at Middleboro on her way to sister railroad Seminole Gulf, following Bay Colony's retreat from the Cape Main. Though reportedly disliked by the crews, 8580 brought some welcome variety to an all-Geep road.

So long, big guy -- I'll miss ya.
