Work Extra

The first year Amtrak ran the Boston Commuter service, a work extra was run over the entire system using two locomotives, a rider coach, and track geometry car. I was lucky enough to be the Conductor on that train and the only person to get photos. F-10's 1151 and 1113 are in the clear at Ipswich,Mass. for an inbound train.

Photographed by David S.Hutchinson, March 10, 1987.
Added to the photo archive by David Hutchinson, January 29, 2008.
Railroad: Amtrak/MBTA.
