Green Mountain 263 slowly eases downgrade past the Okemo Mountain Ski Resort, located just west of Ludlow, VT at 12:15 pm on 02/16/2008. Although the train was on duty at 8:00 am in Rutland, it didn't leave until 10:30 am due to ice and frozen switches resulting from a severe ice storm earlier in the week. The train is usually out of Rutland between 8:30 and 9:00 am and by Okemo before 11:00 am.
