1965 - Rio Cars arriving at Connecticut Trolley Museum

1965 - Rio Cars are being offloaded by crane onto Connecticut Trolley Museum tracks. This is car 1887, a car built in 1912 for Rio De Janeiro, Brazil and was moved to the museum for preservation after the end of its service life.

This is from the historical collection of the Connecticut Trolley Museum. Attempts are currently being made for more photos like this to be publicly viewable.
