ex-Boston & Maine Railroad RDC 6211

Boston & Maine Railroad RDC 6211 was taken out of service circa 1980 to be rebuilt into an unpowered coach ("Boise Budd"). When the MBTA canceled the second phase of the rebuild program, the car remained on a dead track outside the old B&M Billerica Shops facility where it further deteriorated.

Number 6211 has since been relocated to Bedford Depot Park in Bedford, Massachusetts, for cosmetic renovations and static display.

Photographed by Friends Of Bedford Depot Park, Inc., January, 1998.
Added to the photo archive by James Shea, October 22, 2008.
Railroad: Boston & Maine.
