In October 2008, a platform and ramp are under construction at Bedford Depot Park in Bedford, Massachusetts, to provide public access to RDC 6211 and the Freight House building.

A platform of a different type once stood here when the Freight House received shipments by rail. It was large enough for new automobiles to be unloaded from the BB Local (daily freight train), rolled down a ramp and onto the street, destined for a nearby car dealership.
