Pan Am Loaded Coal Train at Schagticoke, NY

A Pan Am loaded coal train rolls through Schagticoke, NY (Fisherman's Lane) at 11:14 am on Friday, 10/24/2008. This day would turn out to be one of the best days ever spent on the B&M West End. A total of 9 trains (!) were either seen or heard over the course of the day including the loaded coal train seen here, RJ1, AD1, SEED (tied down all day at Hemstreet Park waiting for a crew), EDRJ, EDMO, AYMO, NBWA, and a westbound empty hopper train. If all that weren't enough, the Vermont Railway made a trip to Hoosick Junction to drop off the limestone slurry cars for NBWA. An incredible day to say the least!
