Old Railroad Underpass

Known locally as "The Tunnel", It bears everyday witness to what was one of New England's first railroads, the ancient Hartford, Providence and Fishkill Railroad. Built in 1849, it sits under a fairly impressive fill over Tunnel Rd. in Vernon, CT.
