Underbody damage-West Roxbury Wreck.

This is photo #2 of the New Haven Railroad's West Roxbury Gardner Street Wreck in 1966. This RDC, number 41, overturned at speed when it unwittingly took a diverging siding off a switch following miscreants throwing the switch prior to the RDC's arrival. Visible is the extensive damage to the underbody of the car. Numerous serious injuries to passengers resulted.
