Canal Line & Lock #12 in Cheshire Ct.

An early morning view in May of 1994 of the New Haven 's Canal Line (New Haven & Northhampton Line) at Lock #12 in Cheshire Ct. The rail line crossing is in the background. The line had been discontinued since a flood washed out a part of the line just north of New Haven in June 1982. The Farmington Canal was used from 1820-1848 , the railroad from 1848-1982, and a linear park from the early 90's to the present.
