DOTX 219 at Rockland

A Maine Eastern employee sent me this photo to post here. As I understand it, this end of the geometry car is where the controls are, and it was too long to fit on the turntable at Rockland. It was hauled other-end-first to the east end of the Rockland Branch today (06/11).
Tomorrow (Friday) it will back down onto the main line of the Rockland Branch, and run west to Brunswick under its own power, doing its data-gathering along the way.

Unknown photographer June 11, 2009.
