Catskill and Tannersville RR Trestle Abutment at Kaaterskill, NY

This view shows the Catskill and Tannersville trestle abutment at Kaaterskill, NY. The trestle was located at the site of the Laurel House. The level ridge to the left of the abutment is the right-of-way for the Ulster & Delaware, which literally paralled the C&T between Tannersville and Kaaterskill. In many places, the two lines were separated only by a few feet! View looks west towards Tannersville and was taken on Thursday, 10/29/2009.
