Conventional Empties

A rare Monday visit to D4 in July of 2001 wouldn't have happened if it weren't for bad luck the previous Saturday. Having blown out two tires on a trip into CPF414, Jim Van and I came back to retrieve the truck. On our way back to East Deerfield, this westbound was heading for Mohawk with a conventional NS SD70 up front followed by a CR relative still in blue.

Photographed by Jeff Bray, July, 2001.
Added to the photo archive by Jeff Bray, November 26, 2009.
Railroad: Guilford (B&M).
