As I recall, these were 3000volt 1000hp cars that pulled lightweight trailers and operated to the west shore of the Hudson in NJ. The electricals were G.E. and were one of the last DC installations under Edison. Four of these cars made their way to form the original passenger fleet for Hobo RR. The 250hp traction motors and some of the control panels were absolutely identical to those on the ALCO-GE S-1 fleet at Hobo.
