Stopped at the Diamond in Danville Junction

St. Lawrence & Atlantic's LLPX 1505 and 1512 are stopped at the diamond at Danville Junction in Auburn Maine. The signal protecting the diamond is red and the engineer noted on the radio that something must be coming from the west on the PAR line. Nothing ever showed. This signal was malfunctioning earlier in the week along with the grade crossing signals. Possibly another malfunction?

Now that spring is here, work on the new track seen in this photo should begin again soon.
