NH RDC #42 Firestone

NH RDC-1 #42 -- the "Firestone" - on a Needham Heights local at South Station. Used in the early 1950s on Fall River - Taunton rush-hour runs, it would drop off and pick up workers at a special stop near the Firestone plant in Fall River, hence the name.
