ENGINE CHANGE

Central Vermont 2-8-0 472 is taking over the excursion for Brattleboro that the New Haven ALCO PA-1 brought into New London, CT (note the white flag). New Haven steam had about disappeared from New London by around 1951 but the Central Vermont used steam at New London until early 1957. CV N-5a Consolidations were equipped for passenger service.
