Batten Kill RR Alco RS3 605 chugs southbound with a string of cars at Shushan, NY on a cold but sunny afternoon, December 28. A recent snowstorm dumped a fresh blanket of snow on the ground allowing for some great photo ops. The railfan photographers were out in force and a convoy of cars could be seen rushing along the back roads all along the railroad.
