The neglect of 50 years on the Torrington RR station is evident in this photo taken before they demolished the building on Jan. 4th. This is the ticket booth that had broken through the rotted floor. It was reported that the Torrington historical society was allowed in to get out what ever was still worth saving before it was torn down.
