Brand New Rail in town

Looking east toward Camels Hump in Richmond, VT. The track in the foreground is the old passing track (the western half has been removed) alongside the grocery store that replaced the freight house last year. The welded rail on the old CV mainline was installed last week.
The timber frame of the freight house is for sale by the company that tore it down, Building Heritage of Huntington, VT.

Photographed by Robert Zimmermann, May, 2011.
